Every now and again I write some poetry, sometimes in English, most of the times in Dutch.

Most of my poems can be found on the forum of jijbent.nl, but because that is only for members it's a place that is not very easily accessible.

This morning just after I woke up I wrote another wee poem in Dutch which was meant to be something nice for my girlfriend and also something funny.

Sorry for people who don't understand Dutch, but this poem is in Dutch and poetry usually doesn't work when it is translated, so I won't do that.

Ik heb gedroomd vannacht
Over jou, zoals verwacht
Je lag hier met mijn armen om je heen
Maar je sliep vast en leek wel van steen
Nu ben ik weer wakker en zit hier te gapen
Als herinnering aan hoe lekker jij lag is alleen mijn arm blijven slapen.
